- Women's Basketball Storms Past Wilmington, 90-54WEST CHESTER, Pa.-Anna McTamney (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) scored a season-high 25 points on 8-of-13 shooting along with seven rebounds to set new season-highs in both as the senior helped lead the West Chester University women's basketball team (1-3) to a 90-54 victory over Wilmington (0-4) in its home opener on Monday night.

Among the class is former West Chester University women's basketball standout and current assistant coach Allison Hostetter '12. Hostetter will enter the Hall of Fame on Saturday, November 9, alongside Kelvin Butcher, Julie Hull Ulicker, Aaron Harris, Doug Hendricks, Michael Lorback, Ken Noel, Anne Sage, Maureen Scott (Dupcak), and Samantha Staudt.
- Women's Basketball Tabbed Second in PSAC East Preseason Coaches PollLOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's basketball preseason coaches' poll on Thursday afternoon. Coming off back-to-back PSAC Semifinal appearances, the West Chester University women's basketball team was picked to finish second in the PSAC East, receiving one first-place vote, which trailed only 2023-24 Champion, Lock Haven, who garnered eight first-place votes.
