GETTYSBURG, Pa.-  Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) shot a 73 on Tuesday to finish with a 36-hole score of -1 (70, 73; 143) and lead the West Chester University men's golf team to a season-opening victory at the WCU Battlefield Classic at the Links at Gettysburg. West Chester finished atop the team leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 577 (290, 287) after shooting a 287 in the second round on Tuesday afternoon.

GETTYSBURG, Pa.- Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) and William Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) each fired a two-under-par 70 in the opening round of the WCU Battlefield Classic to sit in a tie for first on the individual leaderboard and help West Chester to a lead on the team leaderboard after the first round on Monday. As a team, West Chester shot a 290 on Monday with Jozwiak, Hilton, and Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) sitting in the top five after the opening round, as Roth is tied for fourth with an opening round 74 (+2).
