West Chester Lands 26 on Inaugural PSAC Fall All-Academic Squad
LOCK HAVEN, PA – For the first time, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its Fall 2025 Academic All-Conference Teams and 26 Golden Rams from the school's fall teams made the list. The new honor was created to increase academic recognition for high-achieving student-athletes. The Academic All-Conference teams have been adopted with the following requirements:
Men's Basketball Edged by Clarion, 96-90
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Anthony McCall (Philadelphia, Pa./ANC) scored 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field and a 5-for-7 effort at the line as one of five Golden Rams in double figures but it was not enough to lead the West Chester University men's basketball team (7-3, 1-2) to victory as the Golden Rams fell to Clarion (7-5, 3-2) by a 96-90 final.
Women's Basketball Holds Off Clarion, 80-73
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Macie McCracken (North Wildwood, N.J./Wildwood) scored a career-high 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field, including six makes from three-point range to help lead the West Chester University women's basketball team (6-3, 2-1) to an 80-73 victory over Clarion (6-4, 1-3) on Sunday afternoon in Hollinger.
Men's Basketball Falls to No. 15 Gannon, 101-76
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University men's basketball team (7-2, 1-1) returned home on Saturday afternoon to take on 15th-ranked Gannon (9-1, 3-0) for its second PSAC Crossover battle of the year. Looking to avoid its first home regular-season loss since February 2024, West Chester fell to Gannon by a 101-76 final.
Women's Basketball Falls to No. 5 Gannon, 82-61
WEST CHESTER, Pa.-Macie McCracken (North Wildwood, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) scored a career-high 18 on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, including three makes from thre-point range as the West Chester University women's basketball team (5-3, 1-1) fell to fifth-ranked Gannon (11-1, 3-0) on Saturday afternoon by an 82-61 final.
