PHILADELPHIA- The Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) released its baseball Academic All-Area squad on Thursday afternoon, and Avery Spencer (Pottsgrove, Pa./Pottsgrove) picked up his second Academic honor of the week after earning Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District plaudits earlier this week.

UNIONVILLE, Pa.- Jorge Rinker (Orfield, Pa./Parkland) finished sixth in 16 minutes and 21.4 seconds to lead the West Chester University men's cross country team to a fourth-place team finish at the Golden Ram Invitational in Unionville on Saturday morning.

UNIONVILLE, Pa.- The West Chester University men's cross country team is preparing to return to action on Saturday morning at its second home meet of the season, the Golden Ram Invitational. The race will be a 5K held on the grounds of Unionville High School beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.

LEBANON, Pa.- With a final round of 297, the West Chester University men's golf team captured its sixth PSAC Championship in team history and its first since 2018, finishing the Tournament with a 54-hole score of 891 (295, 299, 297; 891). This Championship, aside from being the Golden Rams' first under head coach Chris Merce and the first since 2018, also punches the Golden Rams' ticket to the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championships in May, as the Golden Rams finished the Tournament four strokes clear of Pitt-Johnstown (895) and nine strokes clear of 2024 Champion Gannon (900).

LEBANON, Pa.- Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) is second on the individual leaderboard at even-par through 36 holes after shooting a one-under 71 in his second round to help lead the West Chester University men's golf team on Saturday afternoon at the PSAC Championships. With 36 of 54 holes complete, the West Chester University men's golf team is second on the team leaderboard with a two-day score of 594 (295, 299) after firing a 299 in the second round on Saturday. West Chester is just eight strokes back of Pitt-Johnstown heading into the final round on Sunday.

WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University and Director of Athletics, Terence F. Beattie, announced the hiring of Autumn Hudson as the school's cheerleading head coach. Hudson was promoted to the head coaching position after spending this past school year as the interim head coach of the Golden Rams' cheerleading squad.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- West Chester University softball head coach Diane Lokey announced the hiring of Hayley Tamaro as the Golden Rams top assistant coach ahead of the start of the 2025-26 season. Tamaro replaces Meredith McCalister, who was Lokey's top assistant for the 2024-25 season. Tamaro is expected to help oversee the Golden Rams pitching staff when she begins her role with the team in August.

LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its 2024-25 Easton/NFCA Team GPA rankings and All-American Scholar Athlete honors on Thursday afternoon. West Chester was well represented once again, earning a spot on the team GPA list with a 3.637 team GPA, which ranks among the top-35 programs in Division II, while 21 Golden Rams earned Individual honors.
