- Women's Golf Takes Second at Alvernia Spring Invitational; Vanderhorst Finishes Third IndividuallyMOHNTON, Pa.- Kirsten Vanderhorst (Gambrills, Md./Bishop McNamara) fired an 11-over 83 in the second round, which was tied for the best second round in the field to finish third at +21 (82, 83; 165) and help lead West Chester to a second-place team finish with a 36-hole score of 679 (334, 345).
- Women's Golf Competes in Opening Round of Alvernia Spring Invitational; Play Suspended Due to WeatherMOHNTON, Pa.- The West Chester University women's golf team was back in action on Monday afternoon for the opening round of the Alvernia Spring Invitational at Ledgerock Golf Club. Due to inclement weather moving into the area in the late afternoon, teams were unable to complete the opening round as only one group played a full 18 holes on Monday. The remaining groups will finish their opening rounds tomorrow morning before playing the second and final round.
