WEST LIBERTY, W.V.- The sixth-seeded West Chester University men's basketball team (23-6) is putting its finishing touches on its preparations for its clash with third-seeded Virginia State (21-8) on Saturday afternoon as the Golden Rams make their first NCAA Tournament appearance since the 2018-19 season. The Golden Rams and Trojans will battle on Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m. inside the Academic Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC) on the campus of top-seed West Liberty.

West Chester will open its NCAA Tournament on Saturday afternoon vs third-seed Virginia State (21-8), who enters the Tournament well rested after capturing the CIAA Tournament title the week before the PSAC Tournament getting underway.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- Head coach Damien Blair earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division Coach of the Year honors and Elijah Allen (Dover, Del./Dover), Davante Dennis (Baltimore, Md./Red Lion), and Joshua Walker (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) earned All-League honors it was announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
