Opening tip on Friday at Slippery Rock is set for 3 p.m., while action gets underway at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Edinboro.

PHILADELPHIA- After opening its 2024-25 season in West Virginia last weekend, the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-2) continues its season-opening road trip with a visit to Holy Family (2-0) on Thursday night beginning at 6 p.m.

CHARLESTON, W.V.- Michelle Kozicki (Wilmington, Del./Padua) scored 22 points on 8-of-20 shooting and a 6-for-7 effort at the line, while Anna McTamney (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) added 18 of her own on 8-for-18 shooting but it was not enough to help the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-2) overcome a big third-quarter run by Charleston (2-0) in a narrow 64-59 setback on Sunday afternoon.

CHARLESTON, W.V.- Michelle Kozicki (Wilmington, Del./Padua) and Erin Daley (Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) scored 17 points each as two of four Golden Rams in double figures but it was not enough to help the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-1) start the season with a win as the Golden Rams fell to West Virginia State (1-0) by a 96-68 final on Saturday night in West Virginia.

CHARLESTON, W.V.- Following its second consecutive 24-win season and first back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearance since the 2015 and 2016 seasons, the West Chester University women's basketball team is hungry for more in 2024-25 as the Golden Rams look to return to the PSAC and NCAA Tournaments once again in 2025. Head coach Kiera Wooden and the Golden Rams will get their 2024-25 campaign underway in West Virginia on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. against West Virginia State before taking on Charleston (W.V.) at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
