Men's Basketball Picked as Preseason Favorite to Win PSAC EastLOCK HAVEN, Pa.- Following its first outright PSAC East Regular Season title since 2006, the West Chester University men's basketball team heads into the 2025-26 as the preseason favorite to repeat atop the East as voted upon by the coaches around the PSAC in the Preseason Coaches' Poll. The preseason poll, which featured Gannon as the PSAC West favorite, was released on Thursday morning as part of PSAC Basketball Virtual Media Day.
Blair Named to CSC Academic All-District Squad; First Golden Ram Honored Since 2018-19WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The Collegiate Sports Communicators released their Academic All-District team on Wednesday morning, and Dylan Blair (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) was named to the All-District squad in recognition of his efforts on the court and in the classroom throughout the 2024-25 season.

Miller was one of two Golden Rams in the top-10 as he was joined by Jason Vogt (Southampton, Pa./William Tennent) in 10th in 25:23.7.

Men's Golf Finishes in Tie for Second at Metropolitan IntercollegiateWEST ORANGE, N.J.- Patrick Carl (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) used a birdie on the par-four ninth and an eagle on the par-five 10th to shoot a 77 and finish third (+7; 70, 77; 147) on the individual leaderboard at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon. Carl was one of two Golden Rams in the top-10 as he was joined by Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) in sixth at +9 (74, 75; 149) and helped lead West Chester to a second-place team finish with a 36-hole score of 609 (295, 314). West Chester led after day one but shot a 314 on day two as Seton Hall stormed back to capture the team title by three strokes over the Golden Rams in the final Tournament of the fall season.

Softball Announces Hayley Tamaro as New Top Assistant CoachWEST CHESTER, Pa.- West Chester University softball head coach Diane Lokey announced the hiring of Hayley Tamaro as the Golden Rams top assistant coach ahead of the start of the 2025-26 season. Tamaro replaces Meredith McCalister, who was Lokey's top assistant for the 2024-25 season. Tamaro is expected to help oversee the Golden Rams pitching staff when she begins her role with the team in August.
