- Women's Basketball Comeback Bid Falls Short in 64-59 Setback at CharlestonCHARLESTON, W.V.- Michelle Kozicki (Wilmington, Del./Padua) scored 22 points on 8-of-20 shooting and a 6-for-7 effort at the line, while Anna McTamney (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) added 18 of her own on 8-for-18 shooting but it was not enough to help the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-2) overcome a big third-quarter run by Charleston (2-0) in a narrow 64-59 setback on Sunday afternoon.

Among the class is former West Chester University women's basketball standout and current assistant coach Allison Hostetter '12. Hostetter will enter the Hall of Fame on Saturday, November 9, alongside Kelvin Butcher, Julie Hull Ulicker, Aaron Harris, Doug Hendricks, Michael Lorback, Ken Noel, Anne Sage, Maureen Scott (Dupcak), and Samantha Staudt.
- Women's Basketball Tabbed Second in PSAC East Preseason Coaches PollLOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's basketball preseason coaches' poll on Thursday afternoon. Coming off back-to-back PSAC Semifinal appearances, the West Chester University women's basketball team was picked to finish second in the PSAC East, receiving one first-place vote, which trailed only 2023-24 Champion, Lock Haven, who garnered eight first-place votes.
