The men's four-mile race will follow the women's 5K and is set to begin at approximately 5:30 p.m.

- Spencer Named to PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Baseball TeamPHILADELPHIA- The Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) released its baseball Academic All-Area squad on Thursday afternoon, and Avery Spencer (Pottsgrove, Pa./Pottsgrove) picked up his second Academic honor of the week after earning Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District plaudits earlier this week.

- Blair Named to CSC Academic All-District Squad; First Golden Ram Honored Since 2018-19WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The Collegiate Sports Communicators released their Academic All-District team on Wednesday morning, and Dylan Blair (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) was named to the All-District squad in recognition of his efforts on the court and in the classroom throughout the 2024-25 season.
- Men's Basketball Falls to #3 Virginia State in Opening Round of NCAA Tournament, 80-64WEST LIBERTY, W.Va.- Playing in its first NCAA Tournament since 2019, the sixth-seeded West Chester University men's basketball team (23-7) was back in action on Saturday afternoon vs third-seeded Virginia State (22-8). Taking on the CIAA Tournament Champion Trojans on a neutral court for the first time in program history, West Chester trailed by 13 at the half and, despite a valiant second-half comeback, fell by an 80-64 final.

Gavin Sheetz (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) was the first Golden Ram across the line on Friday as he finished in 21 minutes and 38.0 seconds.

- Men's Golf Wins WCU Battlefield Classic to Open 2025 SeasonGETTYSBURG, Pa.- Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) shot a 73 on Tuesday to finish with a 36-hole score of -1 (70, 73; 143) and lead the West Chester University men's golf team to a season-opening victory at the WCU Battlefield Classic at the Links at Gettysburg. West Chester finished atop the team leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 577 (290, 287) after shooting a 287 in the second round on Tuesday afternoon.
- Men's Golf Leads After Strong Opening Round at WCU Battlefield ClassicGETTYSBURG, Pa.- Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) and William Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) each fired a two-under-par 70 in the opening round of the WCU Battlefield Classic to sit in a tie for first on the individual leaderboard and help West Chester to a lead on the team leaderboard after the first round on Monday. As a team, West Chester shot a 290 on Monday with Jozwiak, Hilton, and Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) sitting in the top five after the opening round, as Roth is tied for fourth with an opening round 74 (+2).
Men's Soccer
- Men's Soccer to Visit Gannon on Saturday Afternoon for PSAC Semifinal RematchERIE, Pa.- The West Chester University men's soccer team (2-1-1) is back on the road this weekend as the Golden Rams trek across Pennsylvania to take on Gannon (1-1-2) in non-conference action in a rematch of last year's PSAC Semifinal battle, which saw the Golden Knights escape with a 1-0 victory in overtime. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from McConnell Family Stadium.
- Men's Soccer Battles to 3-3 Draw vs MercyWEST CHESTER, Pa.- Following a road victory at Southern Connecticut State on Saturday, the West Chester University men's soccer team (2-1-1) returned home on Wednesday to take on Mercy (2-2-1). Both teams battled through rainy conditions throughout the first half and the final minutes of the second half, but goals were aplenty as the match ended in a 3-3 draw after an 89th-minute goal by the visiting Mavericks.

West Chester was well represented once again as Andres Urrutia and Felix Weber earned Scholar Athlete honors in recognition of their efforts on the court and in the classroom.
- West Chester Men Topple Shepherd, 6-1SHEPHERDSTOWN, WVA – Visiting West Chester captured the doubles point and then took five of the six singles matches to complete a 6-1 win over Shepherd University in a PSAC men's tennis match Saturday.

Cara Murphy (Massillon, Ohio/Jackson) earned her first Women's Golf Athlete of the Week award after winning her second Tournament in a row to begin her rookie season on Tuesday.
- Murphy, Women's Golf Win Millersville Fall ClassicKUTZTOWN, Pa.- Cara Murphy (Massillon, Ohio/Jackson) won her second Tournament of the fall to help lead the West Chester University women's golf team to its second team title of the fall at the Millersville Fall Classic at Berkleigh Golf Club in Kutztown. West Chester fired a 313 on day one and shot a 305 on day two to finish with a two-day score of 618, 25 strokes clear of Adelphi in second place.

However, visiting American International College topped West Chester, 66-8, on a sun-splashed and hot Friday afternoon on the rugby pitch.

- Women's Soccer Falls to Millersville, 2-1MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- Searching for its first PSAC East win of the season, the West Chester University women's soccer team (2-1-1, 0-1-1) took to the road on Wednesday night to renew its rivalry with Millersville (1-3-1, 1-2-1) under the lights of Pucillo Field. West Chester battled throughout the night and ended the evening with a +13 (21-8) lead in shots, but it was Millersville, who emerged victorious, defeating the Golden Rams by a 2-1 final on Wednesday night.
Women's Softball
- Softball Announces Hayley Tamaro as New Top Assistant CoachWEST CHESTER, Pa.- West Chester University softball head coach Diane Lokey announced the hiring of Hayley Tamaro as the Golden Rams top assistant coach ahead of the start of the 2025-26 season. Tamaro replaces Meredith McCalister, who was Lokey's top assistant for the 2024-25 season. Tamaro is expected to help oversee the Golden Rams pitching staff when she begins her role with the team in August.
- Softball Earns EASTON/NFCA Team Academic Award; 21 Golden Rams Recognized as Scholar AthletesLOUISVILLE, Ky.- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its 2024-25 Easton/NFCA Team GPA rankings and All-American Scholar Athlete honors on Thursday afternoon. West Chester was well represented once again, earning a spot on the team GPA list with a 3.637 team GPA, which ranks among the top-35 programs in Division II, while 21 Golden Rams earned Individual honors.
