WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's track and field squad is preparing for another busy weekend of competition as a split squad as the team heads to the Colonial Relays at William and Mary and the Ursinus Track and Field Festival at Ursinus in Collegeville this weekend. The Colonial Relays will begin on Friday morning at 9:45 a.m. and finish on Saturday afternoon. The remaining squad will head over to Ursinus to compete starting Friday evening at 4 p.m. and finishing up Saturday afternoon.

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The West Chester University women's tennis team (3-10, 0-2) returned to PSAC East action on Wednesday afternoon against East Stroudsburg (12-3, 2-0). West Chester battled throughout the afternoon, capturing victories at fifth singles and a Golden Set at third doubles. Still, it was not enough to defeat the Warriors, as East Stroudsburg escaped with a 5-1 victory.

UNIONDALE, N.Y.-John Dunion (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) hit a one-out double in the ninth to score Jake Welsch (Glenmoore, Pa./Downingtown West) and sparked a four-run ninth inning as the 10th-ranked West Chester University baseball team (23-5) once again used late-game heroics to defeat Molloy (15-11) by a 6-2 final.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The Collegiate Sports Communicators released its women's swimming and diving Academic All-District selections on Wednesday afternoon and West Chester had three swimmers honored as Danielle Stewart (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney), Maddy Koehle (State College, Pa./State College), and Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) were all recognized by the Association for their efforts in the pool and in the classroom.
