WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Former West Chester University Cross Country and Track and Field Coach and Athletics Hall of Famer, Bill Butler '54, passed away earlier this week in West Chester. He was 92.

NEW ORLEANS- Derrick Lukmoski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) and Will Rivers (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Outdoor All-Region honors it was announced on Saturday afternoon.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University men's track and field squad wrapped up its 2024 regular season on Friday night at the WCU Last Chance Invitational under the lights of a rain-soaked John A. Farrell Stadium on the campus of West Chester University.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The West Chester University men's track and field squad concluded its stay at the 2024 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday afternoon, finishing 10th in the team standings with 12.5 points. Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North), Devon Carlson-Swank (Elliotsburg, Pa./Connections Charter), and Josh Miller (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) all registered podium finishes to lead West Chester at the final day of the Championships.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) led the way for the West Chester University men's track and field program on day two of the PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, securing all-conference honors in the discus throw placing second overall with an NCAA provisional mark of 172 feet 8 inches. This mark also serves as a personal best for the junior.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.- On the first day of the 2024 Outdoor PSAC Track and Field Championships David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) tallied 3,048 points on day one of the Decathlon. In the 400-meter dash he placed third overall with a time of 50.09 just short of a personal best. He also placed seventh in the 100-meter dash running 11.43. He will be back in action tomorrow as he looks to make the podium and secure a top-eight finish.
