Men's Golf Fifth After Opening Round at Vulcan Fire Classic

WASHINGTON, Pa.- The West Chester University men's golf team opened its Spring 2024 campaign on Monday afternoon in the opening round of the Vulcan Fire Classic at Lone Pine Country Club in Washington, Pennsylvania hosted by the California (Pa.) Vulcans.

WASHINGTON, Pa.- The West Chester University men's golf team opened its Spring 2024 campaign on Monday afternoon in the opening round of the Vulcan Fire Classic at Lone Pine Country Club in Washington, Pennsylvania hosted by the California (Pa.) Vulcans.

Ryan D'Ariano (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) leads the way for West Chester as an individual after the first round, sitting in a tie for fifth with an opening-round 74 as the Golden Rams are also tied for fifth in the team standings with an opening round +24 (312). D'Ariano picked up five birdies on the day, including three on the back nine as he registered a three on the par-four 10th, a two at eh par-three 12th, and a four at the par-five 16th to shoot an even par-36 on the back and finish his day two-over.
