WCU Wind Ensemble Concert Directed by <a href="www.wcu pa.edu/music/ensembleFaculty/aYozviak.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Andrew Yozviak Livestream | Program Concluding its performances for the year, the Wind Ensemble presents an eclectic offering of compositions. Pennsylvania composer, Rob Traugh’s Sparke and Fire and Benjamin Britten’s Passacaglia from Peter Grimes open the concert. Elizabeth Pfaffe then joins the Wind Ensemble for a performance of Zirk, a concerto for horn and wind ensemble by Scott Boerma. The Wind Ensemble closes its season with John Mackey’s epic Wine Dark Sea. The concert will include performances by various brass ensembles, such as duets, trios, quartets, and larger groups. Expect to hear the rich tones of trumpets, trombones, French horns, and tubas as they come together to create an unforgettable musical experience.
