Experience the cutting edge of contemporary music with Network for New Music, the Wells School of Music’s Ensemble-in-Residence. This acclaimed group, praised as “Philadelphia’s premier new music organization” by The Philly Inquirer, will perform innovative compositions by WCU students and faculty. The ensemble features musicians who also play with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Ballet, and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. Since its founding in 1984, Network for New Music has presented over 650 works and recorded four CDs for the Albany and Innova labels.

The New Music Series highlights fresh compositions by student and faculty composers, brought to life by the New Music Ensemble, a dynamic mix of student and faculty performers.
