West Chester University Selected to Host 2024 USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships
WEST CHESTER, PA – For the first time in program history, West Chester University is proud to host the USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships on April 12-14, 2024.
West Chester University and the community of West Chester are excited to welcome fans, family, friends, and student athletes from across the country to this highly competitive championship.
The USAG Women's Collegiate National Championships will feature gymnasts and teams from 11 affiliate members, as everyone vies for the title of National Champion. The competition begins on Friday, April 12. Session 1 will begin with march-in at 2 p.m., followed by Session 2 at 7 p.m. After the Session 2 competition, the final four teams and individual event qualifiers will be announced. Team Finals will be held on Saturday, April 13. March-in will begin at 7 p.m. The national champions will be crowned on Saturday night. On Sunday, April 14, the individual event finals will begin at 1 p.m. At the conclusion of the meet, the Grand March-In will occur, featuring all student-athletes. In addition, event, all-around and other yearly awards will be presented at this time.
All sessions will be held on WCU's campus at Hollinger Fieldhouse. Tickets for the championships will officially go on sale on February 5 at 12 p.m. EST. Individuals can purchase single session passes separately or weekend passes for access to all sessions. All tickets will need to be purchased online. There will be no onsite ticket sales. Make sure to purchase tickets early to guarantee entry into each session.

- Women's Volleyball Holds off Bowie State in 3-2 VictoryBOWIE, Md.- Abiah Lane (Ardmore, Pa./Lower Merion) and Julia Kwitchoff (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Wheatfield) recorded 14 kills each to lead the West Chester University women's volleyball team (7-1) to a 3-2 victory over Bowie State (1-7) on Tuesday night in Maryland. West Chester captured the first two sets by 25-19 and 25-23 finals before dropping the third and fourth sets by 25-21 and 28-26 finals to force a five-set match for the second time in the last four matches. The fifth set was tight throughout, but West Chester emerged victorious, winning by a 15-13 final to capture the match by a 3-2 final.

West Chester fired a 313 on day one and shot a 305 on day two to finish with a two-day score of 618, 25 strokes clear of Adelphi in second place.
