Men's Golf Finishes Sixth at Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational

INDIANA, Pa.- Connor Strine (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) followed up his opening-round performance with a three-over 74 in Tuesday's second round to finish in a tie for 11th on the leaderboard and lead West Chester to a sixth-place finish on the team leaderboard with a 36-hole score of 599 at the Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational. Strine finished his Tournament with a 36-hole score of 146 after shooting a 72 in the opening round on Monday and a 74 on Tuesday, which included birdies on the par-four sixth and the par-five 11th.
Host, Indiana (Pa.) (IUP) went wire-to-wire for the team crown, while Gunnar McCollins of Malone earned Medalist honors after winning a three-player playoff.
