Men's Track and Field Eighth After Day Two of PSAC Outdoor Championships

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) led the way for the West Chester University men's track and field program on day two of the PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, securing all-conference honors in the discus throw placing second overall with an NCAA provisional mark of 172 feet 8 inches. This mark also serves as a personal best for the junior.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) led the way for the West Chester University men's track and field program on day two of the PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, securing all-conference honors in the discus throw placing second overall with an NCAA provisional mark of 172 feet 8 inches. This mark also serves as a personal best for the junior.

On the second day of the decathlon,  David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) placed eighth, securing a spot on the podium with an overall score of 5,472, also good for a personal best.

Josh Farrell (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) placed 14th in the 200m dash with a time of 22.61 seconds.
 
Luke Pikulski (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) placed 14th in the steeplechase, running 10:04.79, which is a personal best for the rookie.
 
 Junior Duffault (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) tied for 11th in the high jump, clearing a height of 6-0 ¾. Derrick Johnson (Langhorne, Pa./Conwell-Egan Catholic) placed 18th, clearing a height of 5-10 ¾.  
 
The Golden Rams currently sit in eighth place with nine points and will be back in action tomorrow for the third and final day of the PSAC Championships at Shippensburg University.
