Men's Cross Country Set for DII/DIII Challenge at Kutztown on Saturday Morning
KUTZTOWN, Pa.- The West Chester University men's cross country team is preparing for its second race of the season on Saturday morning as the team will travel to Kutztown to compete in the DII/DIII Challenge on the 8K North Campus Farm Loop at Kutztown University. The race is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. with the women's 6K race to follow.

West Chester opened the season with a second-place finish at the WCU Season Opener, led by a 15th-place finish from Sam Leisenring as he traversed the 5K course in 17 minutes and 11.30 seconds to lead the Golden Rams in his collegiate debut last week. Leisenring was one of three Golden Rams in the top-20 and one of five to make their collegiate debut last week as Jorge Rinker, Andrew Bradley, Ellis Eppard, and Jordan Barge also competed in their first events as Golden Rams.

West Chester will be joined at Kutztown by Alvernia, Bloomsburg, DeSales, East Stroudsburg, Georgian Court, Jefferson, Kutztown, and Stockton.

Louie Edgcumbe, Nick Forman, Dylan Graham, Matt Landis, Sam Leisenring, Aaron Marcus, Josh Miller, Eli Radio, Matthew Remishofski, Jorge Rinker, Gavin Sheetz, and Jason Vogt are all expected to compete for West Chester on Saturday morning.
