Elijah Severe Wins 110m Hurdles at WCU Last Chance Meet
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- West Chester University hosted a Last Chance meet this afternoon inside John A. Farrell Stadium.
Elijah Severe (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) won the 110m hurdles running a time of 17.30 seconds.
Ashton Barnes (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) placed eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.40 seconds.
Kaleb Brown (Reading, Pa./Wilson) placed 10th in the 400m, running 51.87 seconds for a personal best. Brown also placed 10th in the 200m, running 23.59 seconds. Alijah Serrano (Womelsdorf, Pa./Conrad Weiser) placed 11th with a time of 23.62 seconds.
In the 800m, Josh Miller (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) was victorious, running a time of 1 minute, 57.67 seconds. Billy Zane (Springfield, Pa./Springfield DELCO) placed third in 1:58.57 tying his personal best. Gabriel Lawler (Bangor, Pa./Bangor Area) placed fourth with a personal best time of 1:58.59. Luke Pikulski (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) placed eighth finishing in 2:06.08.
In the 1500m, Jason Shumaker (Norristown, Pa./Methacton) placed second, crossing the finish line at 4:09.60. Sean Fisher (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) finished in fifth at 4:13.81, and Nicholas Falsone (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) placed seventh with a time of 4:19.83.
West Chester will head to Shippensburg University next week for the PSAC Championships starting on Friday, May 3.
