Women's Golf Places Second at Bloomsburg Husky Spring Invitational

DANVILLE, Pa.- Josephine Genuardi (Harleysville, Pa./William Penn Charter) fired an 85 to finish in a tie for fifth and lead a trio of Golden Rams in the top-10 at the Bloomsburg Husky Spring Invitational at Frosty Valley in Danville on Thursday afternoon. Genuardi was joined in the top-10 by the freshman duo of Morgan Kunze (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford) and Cierra Griffith (Pottstown, Pa./Spring-Ford) as they finished in a tie for seventh after each shooting an 86 to help West Chester finish second in the team standings with a 345, just three strokes back of team champion, Alvernia.
Alvernia also took the individual crown as Rylee Stenzel earned medalist honors with a six-over 79 after picking up a clutch birdie on the par-three 12th to edge out the second-place finisher from Lebanon Valley College.
