WEST CHESTER, PA.- The West Chester women's tennis team (8-10, 6-1) celebrated its senior day with a 4-0 PSAC East victory against Shepherd (6-11, 3-5). Due to inclement weather reports, both teams agreed to play the singles competition before doubles play.
Seniors Yuno Oe (Yokohama, Japan/ Nihon University Senior High) and Amber Nguyen (Exton, PA/West Chester East) were able to win their senior day matches with a matching 6-0 6-0 final. The Golden Rams would continue to dominate the singles competition before being halted at 4-0 due to incoming rain. Tori Alexander (Norristown, PA/Spring-Ford) led her opponent after a 6-4 set before the match was called off for good.
