To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must possess at least a 3.50 GPA and have played in 90 % of the institution's games played.

Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.

For Haughey and Raybold, this is the second postseason honor of the year for both players as they were each honored as All-Conference selections, with Haughey capturing First Team honors, while Raybold was a Second Team selection. Kergides, a returning United Soccer First Team All-American, was also a Collegiate Sports Communicators Third Team Academic All-American a year ago, being recognized for her efforts on the field and in the classroom.

Kergides has helped lead the West Chester defense again in 2023, playing a significant role in helping the team return to the Atlantic Region Championship game for the sixth time in the last seven years.
Haughey and Raybold have been part of a very dangerous offensive unit for West Chester, accounting for 13 (5 G 3 A) and 7 (3 G 1 A) points, respectively, during the year. Haughey was named the MVP of the 2023 PSAC Championships, scoring a pair of goals and assisting on another in the PSAC Tournament, while Raybold scored goals in two of the Golden Ram's final three games of the regular season, in addition to providing vital support in the midfield.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
