Stanislawczyk Named PSAC East Athlete of the Week
LOCK HAVEN, PA - West Chester University senior midfielder, Hannah Stanislawczyk (Mohnton, Pa./Gov. Mifflin), was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Athlete of the Week it was announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Stanislawczyk scored 10 goals and registered 12 points in a pair of road victories over two of West Chester's top competitors in the Eastern Division last week. Stanislawczyk also totaled six ground balls, six caused turnovers and eight draw controls to fill out the scoresheet. She posted four goals and one assist in a 15-6 win over No. 3 East Stroudsburg in the middle of the week. She came back on Saturday and posted a season-high six goals and seven points in a win at Bloomsburg to keep No. 2 West Chester undefeated on the season. She moved into a tie for 26th place on the NCAA Division II all-time scoring list with 240 career goals.
West Chester takes on No. 15 Kutztown on Wednesday at Vonnie Gros Field at 4 p.m.
