ESU notched its two goals nearly two minutes apart in the second quarter to jump out to a 2-0 lead. Almost one minute after that, Paige Wolfe (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East), scored her third of the season off an assist from Adriana Palumbo (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) to cut the deficit in half.

All the scoring took place within a four-minute span of the second quarter Tuesday.

West Chester goalkeeper Alina Burger (Konigs, Wusterhausen, Brandenburg, Germany) made five saves in the loss. ESU goalkeeper Amy Supey made six.

West Chester concludes its 2023 season on Friday at New Haven in a non-conference tilt.
