Three Golden Rams Listed Among NFHCA Scholars of Distinction
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — West Chester University landed three players on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholars of Distinction scroll it was announced Monday.
Among the names of 121 undergraduate student-athletes who have attained the distinguished designation of NFHCA Division II Scholars of Distinction were Alina Burger (Koenigs Wusterhausen, Brandenburg, Germany), Adriana Palumbo (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) and Isabella Schute (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South).
For Palumbo, she is making her third appearance on the Scholars of Distinction list, having received the honor all three years in which she has been in college. Burger and Schute are each making their first appearance on the list.
This esteemed program recognizes the academic excellence of student-athletes who have demonstrated exceptional prowess, maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher throughout the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year.
