West Chester Places 7th at Galen Piper Cross Country Challenge

SHIPPENSBURG, PA - On the road at Shippensburg University, West Chester University's Womens Cross Country finished seventh at the 13th Annual Galen Piper Cross Country Challenge with a score of 168 in the four-kilometer race.  

Out of 150 racers, West Chester held four of the top 50 places in the race. 

West Chester senior, Allison Myers finished 37th in 16 minutes, 13.7 seconds. 

In 39th place, junior Abigail Marion, put up a time of 16:14.5. 

West Chester senior Madeline Spaluding, was 43rd in a time of 16:18.3. 

Holding the Golden Rams last top 50 slot was senior Alex Amin in 16:29.4. 

West Chester anticipates using the next two weeks to seek out competition, before its next course of action in Kutztown, Pa., at the D2/D3 Challenge
