West Chester Names Jacqui Kline as New Cheerleading Coach

WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University announced the hiring of Jacqueline Kline as the new cheerleading head coach Tuesday. Kline will be thrust right into her new position as the beginning of another athletic season gets under way this weekend.

WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University announced the hiring of Jacqueline Kline as the new cheerleading head coach Tuesday. Kline will be thrust right into her new position as the beginning of another athletic season gets under way this weekend.
 
"I'm excited to join the West Chester University community and honored to have the opportunity to build on the success and tradition of the cheerleading program," Kline said. "I would like to thank Terry Beattie and the search committee for giving me this opportunity. 
 
"I'm looking forward to using my role to help provide our student-athletes with the best possible experience at WCU. I am excited to meet the team and begin working hard as we prepare for the upcoming season."
 
Kline, a 2002 graduate of Shippensburg University, comes to West Chester after serving as the cheerleading coach at Exeter Township Senior High School from 2005 to 2022.
 
"Jacqui brings an excellent combination of experience, passion and energy, and I am excited for her to join our team," West Chester University Director of Athletics, Terry Beattie, said.
 
With the first home football game set for Saturday, Sep. 16, Kline has a few short weeks to get to know her squad and prepare them for their first public event of the 2023-24 campaign.
