Golden Rams Conclude Day One of 2024 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.- On the first day of the 2024 Outdoor PSAC Track and Field Championships David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) tallied 3,048 points on day one of the Decathlon. In the 400-meter dash he placed third overall with a time of 50.09 just short of a personal best. He also placed seventh in the 100-meter dash running 11.43. He will be back in action tomorrow as he looks to make the podium and secure a top-eight finish.

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.- On the first day of the 2024 Outdoor PSAC Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg University, David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) tallied 3,048 points in the first day of the Decathlon. In the 400-meter dash he placed third overall with a time of 50.09 just short of a personal best. He also placed seventh in the 100-meter dash running 11.43. In the hammer throw, Ben Thornton (Lincoln University, Pa./Salesianum [Del.]) placed 15th with a throw of 146-8. This also serves as a new personal best for the junior to close out his season.

In the 10,000 meter run Jason Vogt (Southampton, Pa./ William Tennent) did not finish due to injury.

The Golden Rams will be back in action tomorrow for day two of the PSAC Championships.
