Men's Track & Field Competes at 128th Penn Relays
PHILADELPHIA - The West Chester men's track & field squad returned to action on Friday evening at the 128th running of the Penn Relays inside Historic Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania.

Nick Tran (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley), Josh Farrell (Bethlehem, Pa./ Liberty), Amarre Mayo (Newtown, Pa./ Council Rock North), and Drew Gallen (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) placed seventh overall in prelims with a time of 42.61 seconds.The 4x400 team of Farrell, Tran, Tek Leaf (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) and Jack Wasserman (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) ran a time of 3 minutes, 27.68 seconds for a 12th place finish.
Will Rivers (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 47 feet, 1 ¾ inches (14.60 meters). West Chester returns to action tomorrow for day three of the Penn Relays as the 4x100 relay team runs at 4:55 p.m. tomorrow after qualifying for the Eastern final round.
