Men's Tennis Posts Senior Day Triumph over Shepherd

WEST CHESTER, PA.- The West Chester men's tennis team (2-13, 1-5) were victorious in its senior day against PSAC rival Shepherd (2-14, 0-6) 5-0. Due to inclement weather reports, both teams agreed to play the singles competition before doubles play.

TENNIS SENIOR GROUP

 
Seniors Aidan Cashin (Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) and Cesar DeJesus-Morales (San Juan, Puerto Rico Colegio Marista Academy) both won their matches in straight sets, dropping no more than one game between the two matches. The Golden Rams continued to dominate the rest of the singles competition before being halted at 5-0 due to incoming rain.
 
As the rains forecast for later in the afternoon moved into the area and intensified play was suspended, however, West Chester already clinched the match, leading to the remaining doubles and singles matches being marked as unfinished.
