Men's Tennis Falls to Edinboro 7-0 in PSAC Opener
EDINBORO, Pa.- The West Chester University men's tennis team (1-6, 0-1) opened PSAC play on Friday night at Edinboro (8-3, 1-0), falling to the Fighting Scots by a 7-0 final at the Westwood Racquet Club Tonight's match is the first of two this weekend for West Chester in the greater Erie area as the Golden Rams will challenge Mercyhurst tomorrow before playing its first home PSAC match of the year on Tuesday against Kutztown beginning at 2 p.m.
Lucas Henke (Rockwall, Tx./Rockwall-Heath) and Andrew Poprik (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) were match points away from performing the upset of the match at second doubles. Serving 5-4 in the set, the duo fell victim to an excellent comeback by the Edinboro duo of Bruno Sabio and Rocco Palombarini, falling by a 7-5 final.

Brady Burns (Narvon, PA / Peques Valley) gave the Golden Rams their only point of the day with his third set tiebreaker win at the third singles spot as the Golden Bears left South Campus with a 6-1 victory.
