Good Named to Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District Squad
AUSTIN, Tx.- The Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Men's Soccer Academic All-District squad this afternoon, and senior goalkeeper Daniel Good (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) was named Academic All-District.
In order to be eligible for this award, student-athletes must possess at least a 3.50 GPA and have played in 90 % of the institution's games played.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
For Good, this is his second postseason honor of the year as the senior was also named a First Team All-PSAC East selection earlier this year, marking his third straight first-team honor. Good ended his Golden Ram career with a record of 42-18-11 with 27 shutouts, including 10 during his final season in 2023. In 2023, Good played to a record of 11-5-5 with 10 shutouts and a 0.84 goals-against average, which helped him not only set the career record for wins and shutouts but also break the career goals-against average record while also setting a new single-season shutout record.
