Day Two of Football Camp Hotter Than Day One
WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University's football camp continued under the blazing heat prevalent during the dog days of August in the Delaware Valley.
Second-year head coach Duke Greco put his charges through the paces looking for the squad to improve upon Day One's effort as the team continues to build towards its season opener on Sept. 6 at Bentley University outside of Boston.
We caught up with R-Jr. TE Thatcher Miller (Lititz, Pa./warwick) and R-Sr., Nate Desmond (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) while also sitting down with veteran offensive line coach Nick Sama to talk about how things are going in the early portion of camp.
Tickets for all Golden Rams' home football games are now on sale at https://wcupatix.com. All seating is general admission and is $10. Senior citizens 65-years-old and older, and students grades K through12, are $5. Children four years of age and under are free. WCU students are admitted free with valid WCU school student ID (must present Ram ID card at the game).
Tickets are available for purchase in advance online. While tickets will be available to purchase at the door if needed (subject to availability), we strongly encourage purchasing tickets in advance. West Chester University football games are cashless. Tap-to-pay options are available, including debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. That also includes all pay parking lots around the stadium.
Fans can follow the Golden Rams periodically through preseason camp and continually all season long on 'X' (formerly Twitter) @WCUAthletics, on Facebook at WCUAthletics, and on Instagram at WCUAthletics.
