Baseball Makes Big Jump in National Polls To No. 17 in ABCA Ranking
GREENSBORO, NC - West Chester University moved up in the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) weekly Division II national poll for the second straight week. The Golden Rams slid up to No. 17 following a successful weekend in which they took three of four games from No. 10 East Stroudsburg.
West Chester (35-7) debuted in the ABCA coaches poll two weeks ago at a tie for 30th. Last week, they climbed two notches to No. 28. However, this week saw a big jump with their series victory over the Warriors.
West Chester will face No. 7 Millersville on Thursday and Friday in the final four-game conference series of the season. Thursday's doubleheader at Serpico Stadium begins at 1 p.m. Friday's doubleheader at Cooper Park in Millersville begins at 1 p.m.

Boccio became the first Golden Ram to earn NCBWA Atlantic Region Player of the Year honors since Jared Melone in 2019 and was joined on the First Team All-Region squad by Sean Szestowicki (Mount Royal, N.J./Kingsway Regional), while John DeMucci (Swarthmore, Pa./Msgr.
