Palacio Lewis Leads Golden Rams in Impressive Showing at Paul Donahue Invitational

CHESTER, Pa.- Lily Palacio-Lewis (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) shined for the Golden Rams, placing second overall in the 100-meter dash, running a personal best time of 12.09 seconds, which is a personal best for the senior. She also moves up to sixth all-time in the event. Palacio-Lewis also put up a personal best in the 200 with a time of 25.10, putting her sixth all-time in school history.
Katja Larsen (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) ran a time of 12.72 in the 100-meter dash, placing her 18th. This is also a new personal best for the rookie.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Jade Williams (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) and Kamryn Fontaine (DuBois, Pa./DuBois Area) placed 11th and 12th respectively running personal best times of 16.79 and 16.96.
In the 1500, Ellie Goldberg (West Deptford, NJ./West Deptford) ran a personal best time of 5:00.43. Kristina Tapia (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) ran a time 5:01.08, which is also a personal best for the sophomore. Tapia also ran a personal best time of 2:25.10 in the 800-meter run.
In the 5000-meter run, Josey George (Oxford, Ga./Walnut Grove) placed 18th with a PSAC qualifying and personal best time of 18:29.40. Jenny Weiss (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Twp.) also ran a personal best time of 19:12.30. Anna Quackenbush (Oakton, Va./Oakton) posted a personal best time of 19:16.77.
In the hammer throw, Adrianna Bryant (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) placed 12th with a throw of 134-8.
In the javelin, Kayla Lockburner (Hillsborough, N.J. Hillsborough) placed fifth with a PSAC qualifying and personal best throw of 118-07. Jaclyn Borcky (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) placed seventh with a personal best of her own with a throw 110-11. Senior Sydney Pearson (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) placed 16th with a throw of 110-11, just shy of a personal best.
Jade Salmon (Rochester, N.Y./Gates Chili) placed 12th in the high jump, clearing a height of 4-9 ¾.
In the triple jump, Katie Pieslak (Yardley, Pa./ Pennsbury) placed sixth with a personal best mark of 10.91 meters. Ozioma Ottih (Elkins Park, Pa./Cheltenham) placed eighth with a personal best leap of 10.53 meters. Pieslak concluded her day by placing fifth overall in the long jump with a mark of 17-04 ¾.
In the 4x100 Relay, the A team crossed the finish line at 48.46 for a second-place finish.
In the 4x400 relay, the A team posted a time of 4:16.46, which was good enough for a fifth-place finish.
