GENEVA, OHIOMadelyn Koehle (State College, Pa./State College Area) placed seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke Saturday night as West Chester University finished in 13th place at the 2024 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships inside the Spire Institute.

Nova Southeastern came away with the national team title, scoring 487 points in the five-day meet. Colorado Mesa was second with 461.5 points and Drury placed third with 400.5.

Koehle turned in a time of 2 minutes, 16.42 seconds Saturday night in the finals to earn that seventh place finish. She touched the wall in 2:15.34 during the morning session to solidify her All-America status and establish a new personal best. She placed eighth in this event her freshman year and tonight picked up her second All-America trophy in the 200 breast.

"I really wanted to lock into that Top 8 spot in the morning, which I did," Koehle said. "I felt a little off tonight, but I was still happy to get seventh."

Teammate Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant) placed 15th in the consolation final, swimming a time of 2:18.98.

The 400 free relay concluded the Golden Rams' contingent at the championships with the second All-America performance. The foursome of Mikayla Niness (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), Samantha Trumble (Dallastown, Pa./Dallastown), McKenzie Hemingway (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County) and Keeley Durkin (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) made up that relay that posted a time of 3:23.81.

"I don't feel like I had the best meet personally," Durkin said. "But, to finish it off and come home with an All-American trophy is special."

"To (pick up an All-America trophy) beside two teammates I've been swimming with for four years, and another I've been swimming with for three years, is just great," Niness said. "We all just really love to race."

In the mile, Danielle Stewart (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) placed 13th in a time of 16:59.99 while Durkin was 19th.
