Women's Track and Field Set for Danny Curran Invitational, Raleigh Relays this Weekend
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's track and field squad is preparing for another busy multi-event weekend as the majority of the Golden Rams will head to Widener for the Danny Curran Invitational on Friday and Saturday, while a small contingent will head to NC State for the Raleigh Relays.
Women's Track and Field Opens 2026 Outdoor Season; Wins Purple and Gold Open
WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The West Chester University women's track and field squad opened its spring 2026 season this weekend at the Purple and Gold Invitational in West Chester, while another small contingent of Golden Rams made the trip south to Charlotte, North Carolina for the 49ers Classic. West Chester finished first at the Purple and Gold open with 166 points for the weekend.

The majority of the Golden Rams squad will open their campaign in West Chester at the Purple and Gold Opener, while another contingent heads for North Carolina for the 49ers Classic on Friday and Saturday.
Nugin Wins 800, Helps Women's Track and Field to Eighth-Place Finish at PSAC Championships
BETHLEHEM, Pa.- Cassie Nugin (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) made history with her victory in the 800 to help lead the West Chester University women's track and field squad on day two of the PSAC Championships at Lehigh University. With this performance and another of other strong efforts throughout the Championships, West Chester finished eighth in the team standings with 40 points.
Women's Track and Field Eighth After Day One at PSAC Indoor Championships
BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The West Chester University women's track and field squad returned to action on Saturday afternoon for the first day of the PSAC Indoor Championships. After day one, West Chester is tied for eighth in the team standings with Edinboro with 13 points and is just 3.5 points behind seventh-place Kutztown.
