Women's Rugby Competes at Navy Legacy 7s Tournament
ANNAPOLIS, Md.- The West Chester University women's rugby team returned to action on Sunday at the Navy Legacy 7s Tournament on the campus of the United States Naval Academy. West Chester Purple went 1-3 on Sunday and finished seventh in its Division alongside Navy, Princeton, La Salle, Queens, LIU, Sacred Heart, and Mount St. Mary's, while the Gold squad went 0-2-1 to finish fifth in the five-team division.

ANNAPOLIS, Md.- The West Chester University women's rugby team is finishing its preparations for its second 7s Tournament of the spring season on Sunday afternoon as the Golden Rams head to the United States Naval Academy for the Legacy 7s Tournament on Sunday. Fans are advised of enhanced security procedures for visiting the United States Naval Academy in accordance with US Northern Command Directives for all military installations within the continental United States. LANCASTER, Pa.-The West Chester University women's rugby team opened its spring 7s season on Sunday afternoon at the Frostbite 7s Tournament in Lancaster. West Chester's Gold squad outscored its opponents 112-46 over four matches and went 3-1 to place third in the open Division.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) released its All-NIRA honorees from the Fall 2025 15s season on Friday afternoon. West Chester was well represented as four Golden Rams earned All-NIRA Honors with Emma Davies (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) and Christelle Adikpeto (Abomey-Calavi, Benin/Moon Area) earning First Team honors, while Camryn Snow (Exton, Pa./West Chester East) and Ashyln Wissler (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) earned Honorable Mention recognition.
