WEST CHESTER, Pa.- After falling to Holy Family on Thursday night to slip to 0-3 on the year for the first time in 18 years, the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-3) looks to get into the win column against Wilmington (0-3) on Monday evening in Hollinger Field House. Opening tip is set for 5:30 p.m. on University Avenue. However, fans are encouraged to arrive early as West Chester plans to present a commemorative ball to senior Anna McTamney (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) before the game in celebration of her 1,000th career point earlier this season.

PHILADELPHIA- Anna McTamney (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) scored a game-high 22 points to reach the 1,000-point plateau for her collegiate career, but it was not enough to help the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-3) earn its first win of the young season in a 70-54 setback at Holy Family (3-0) on Thursday night.

PHILADELPHIA- After opening its 2024-25 season in West Virginia last weekend, the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-2) continues its season-opening road trip with a visit to Holy Family (2-0) on Thursday night beginning at 6 p.m.

CHARLESTON, W.V.- Michelle Kozicki (Wilmington, Del./Padua) scored 22 points on 8-of-20 shooting and a 6-for-7 effort at the line, while Anna McTamney (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) added 18 of her own on 8-for-18 shooting but it was not enough to help the West Chester University women's basketball team (0-2) overcome a big third-quarter run by Charleston (2-0) in a narrow 64-59 setback on Sunday afternoon.
