- Men's Track & Field Shines With a Plethora Of Personal Bests at Paul Donahue InvitationalCHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University men's track and field squad continued its stellar 2024 outdoor season at the Paul Donahue Invitational, hosted by Widener, this weekend. West Chester performed tremendously throughout the weekend, posting a host of personal best performances over the course of the two-day meet.
- Men's Track and Field Places Second at Bill Butler Invitational; First Among Collegiate ProgramsWEST CHESTER, Pa.- Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) set the bar high for the Golden Rams, securing a victory in the shot-put throwing for a PSAC qualifying mark of 46 feet 4 ¼ inches. He was also victorious in the discus with a throw of 165-11, to help lead the Golden Rams at the Bill Butler Invitational on Saturday afternoon. West Chester finished second in the team standings and was the top college program with 96 points to its credit, just outpacing Holy Family who finished second with 95.99 points.
- Burnshaw Finishes Fourth at Messiah Multi'sGRANTHAM, PA - West Chester sophomore David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) finished in fourth place in the decathlon at the Messiah Multi's on Friday night, scoring 5,212 points after securing first place victories in the javelin throw and 400-meter dash.
- Men's Track and Field Places Second in Golden Ram InvitationalWEST CHESTER, Pa.- After a stellar performance at the Danny Curran Invitational a week ago, the West Chester University men's track and field squad continued its momentum on Saturday afternoon with another excellent performance inside John A. Farrell Stadium for the Golden Ram Invitational. West Chester, led by a host of first-place finishes, took second place in the team standings, finishing with 136 total points to its name.
- Rivers Triple Jump Victory headlines Men's Track and Field at Danny Curran InvitationalCHESTER, Pa.- Will Rivers (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) was victorious in the triple jump, leaping to a mark of 48-05 ¼, good for a PSAC qualifying mark. This put him fourth all-time in school history in the event, landing him on the NCAA provisional list to headline the West Chester University men's track and field team at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener.
