WEST CHESTER, Pa.- After picking up its first win of the season in convincing fashion on Saturday afternoon against Wilmington, the West Chester University men's basketball team (1-2) is ready for another non-league test on Wednesday night as unbeaten Jefferson (4-0) visits Hollinger for a battle against the Golden Rams beginning at 6 p.m.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.-Elijah Allen (Dover, Del./Dover) was excellent on Saturday afternoon, scoring a season-high 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting to help lead the West Chester University men's basketball team (1-2) to a dominant 92-78 victory over Wilmington (1-3) in the Golden Rams home opener on Saturday afternoon.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- After suffering a pair of losses in West Virginia to open the season last weekend, the West Chester University men's basketball team (0-2) is grateful to return home this weekend for its home opener against local non-league rival Wilmington (1-2) beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. Saturday's game promises to be the latest excellent installment in what has blossomed into an excellent non-league rivalry for the Golden Rams and Wildcats with the two teams splitting the last six meetings.

WEST LIBERTY, W.V.- Davante Dennis (Baltimore, Md./Red Lion) scored 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field, including a perfect 3-for-3 effort from deep, but it was not enough to help the West Chester University men's basketball team (0-2) overcome a hot-shooting Wheeling (1-1) squad as the Golden Rams fell to the Cardinals by an 88-68 final on Saturday afternoon.
