Saturday Baseball vs ESU Postponed to Sunday; Golden Rams to Open Series with Warriors on Friday
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Due to forecasted low temperatures, the West Chester University baseball doubleheader at home vs East Stroudsburg, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, has been postponed to Sunday afternoon, beginning at 1 p.m.
No. 11/21 Baseball Set for Weekend Series vs RV East Stroudsburg Beginning on Friday at ESU
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- After taking three of four from Mansfield to open PSAC East play last weekend, the No. 11/21/22 West Chester University baseball team (16-3, 3-1) is set for its next Eastern Division challenger in longtime rival RV East Stroudsburg (14-8, 2-2). The series will begin on Friday afternoon at Creekview Park in Stroudsburg at 1 p.m. before returning to West Chester on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the final two games of the series with the Warriors.
No.12/20 Baseball Sweeps Doubleheader from Mansfield on Saturday
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The No. 12/20/22 West Chester University baseball team (16-3, 3-1) bounced back from a split with Mansfield (10-13, 1-3) on Friday to sweep the Mountaineers on Saturday by 9-0 and 10-0 finals as the Golden Rams earned their first PSAC East series victory of the year. After falling by a 4-1 final in the first game of PSAC East play on Friday afternoon, West Chester outscored its foes 31-7 over the next three games, including a pair of shutouts on Saturday behind terrific pitching performances by Kyle Lazer (Havertown, Pa./Msgr. Bonner & Prendie) and Kyle Rogers (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) to win the series against the Mountaineers.
No. 12/20 Baseball Splits Doubleheader with Mansfield to Open PSAC East Play
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Austin Stalker (Wycombe, Pa./Council Rock North) blasted three home runs in a 3-for-6 day at the plate with five RBI and Julian Costa (Mantua, N.J./Clearview) broke the career strikeout record as the No. 12/20/22 West Chester University baseball team (14-3, 1-1) split its PSAC East opening doubleheader with Mansfield (10-11,1-1) on Friday afternoon. Costa set a new program record in game one of the doubleheader, but suffered his first loss of the season as West Chester fell to Mansfield by a 4-1 final before the Golden Rams roared back in the nightcap for a 12-7 victory and doubleheader split with the Mountaineers.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The No. 12/20/22 West Chester University baseball team (13-2) is preparing for its first PSAC East series of the year against Mansfield (9-10) beginning with a pair of games in West Chester on Friday afternoon, starting at 1 p.m. First pitch all weekend is set for 1 p.m., as the two teams will play doubleheaders on Friday in West Chester and on Saturday at Lycoming College, with the second game of both doubleheaders beginning around 3:30 p.m., roughly 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
