Costa Named ABCA/Rawlings Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year; Four Golden Rams Earn All-Region Honors
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in conjunction with Rawlings released its 2026 ABCA/Rawlings All-Region squad on Wednesday afternoon and West Chester had four players honored as Julian Costa (Mantua, N.J./Clearview) earned his third Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year honor of the year and was a First Team selection, while Caleb Strawhecker (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove), Austin Stalker (Wycombe, Pa./Council Rock North), and Hunter Smith (Martinsburg, Pa./Central) were Second Team honorees.
Baseball Selected as Top-Seed at National Finals; Will Face UIndy on Friday at 6 P.M.
CARY, N.C.- The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) released the Division II Baseball National Finals bracket on Sunday afternoon. The NCAA Division II Baseball committee reseeds the eight Regional Champions to set the schedule for the National Finals at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary and West Chester (44-10) was selected as the number one overall seed heading into the Tournament on Friday. The top-seeded Golden Rams will face the University of Indianapolis (UIndy) in their first game in Cary since 2022 on Friday night at 6 p.m.

MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- Kyle Lazer (Havertown, Pa./Msgr. Bonner & Prendie) turned in perhaps his best outing of the 2026 season to help lead the West Chester University baseball team (44-10) to a 9-2 victory over Millersville (39-18) to help West Chester win the Atlantic Regional title for the sixth time in program history and the first time since 2022.
Seventh-ranked West Chester Opens Super Regionals with 7-2 Victory over Millersville
MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- Julian Costa (Mantua, N.J./Clearview) carried a no-hitter into the seventh and helped lead the West Chester University baseball team (43-10) to a dominant 7-2 victory over Millersville (39-17) to open the Super Regionals at Cooper Park on Thursday night.
Thursday's Super Regional Game Moved to 6 P.M.
MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- Due to anticipated weather conditions, game one of the NCAA Super Regional between West Chester and Millersville, originally scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon has been moved to a 6 p.m. start time at Cooper Park.
