GETTYSBURG, Pa.- Evan Jozwiak (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) and William Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) each fired a two-under-par 70 in the opening round of the WCU Battlefield Classic to sit in a tie for first on the individual leaderboard and help West Chester to a lead on the team leaderboard after the first round on Monday. As a team, West Chester shot a 290 on Monday with Jozwiak, Hilton, and Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) sitting in the top five after the opening round, as Roth is tied for fourth with an opening round 74 (+2).

WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University men's golf team is set to get its 2025-26 campaign underway under the tutelage of third-year head coach Chris Merce. West Chester will kick off its campaign in Gettysburg for the second year in a row as the Golden Rams host the WCU Battlefield Classic.

NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars on Tuesday afternoon. West Chester had two student-athletes honored as Connor Strine (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) and Ryan D'Ariano (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) were both honored by the GCAA for their efforts in the classroom and on the course.
