Lucas Henke (Rockwall, Tx./Rockwall Heath) and Voyin Markovic (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) teamed up to win their match at third doubles by a 7-5 final and Sam Robertson (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) claimed his sixth singles match by a 7-6, 6-1 final but this was as close as West Chester would come to pulling an upset as the Spartans earned a 6-1 victory over the Golden Rams.

West Chester had four players honored once again in 2024 as Kaitlynn Haughey (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Charter), Victoria Pungello (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial), Lauren Corless (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge), and Jacqueline Graham (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) were all recognized by the Association.

- Softball Announces Meredith McAlister as Top Assistant CoachWEST CHESTER, Pa.- West Chester University softball head coach Diane Lokey has announced the hiring of Meredith McAlister as the Golden Rams top assistant ahead of the 2024-25 season. McAllister replaces longtime assistant coach Laura Altenburger, who stepped away from coaching in July.
- Softball Earns EASTON/NFCA Team Academic Award; 16 Golden Rams Recognized as Scholar AthletesLOUISVILLE, K.Y.- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its 2023-24 EASTON/NFCA Team GPA rankings and All-America Scholar Athlete honors on Tuesday afternoon. West Chester was well represented once again, earning a spot on the team GPA list with a 3.6 team GPA on the year, while 16 Golden Rams earned EASTON/NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors.

- Women's Track and Field Competes in WCU Last Chance InvitationalWEST CHESTER, Pa.-The West Chester University women's track and field team returned to the track on Friday night for one final meet under the lights of John A. Farrell Stadium as the Golden Rams hosted the WCU Last Chance Invitational on a rainy Friday evening in West Chester. West Chester earned three event victories on Friday night, winning the 100, 800, and 5K in front of its home crowd.

- Haines Named Second Team All-PSAC EastLOCK HAVEN, Pa.- Zoe Haines (York, Pa./York Suburban) earned Second Team All-PSAC East honors as announced by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference as a part of its PSAC volleyball All-Conference and Major Award Announcements on Thursday afternoon.
- Women's Volleyball Falls to Shippensburg 3-1 on Senior DayWEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's volleyball team (13-15, 5-9) wrapped up its 2024 season on Saturday afternoon against Shippensburg (17-12, 11-3) on what was also Senior Day in Hollinger Field House. West Chester battled throughout the afternoon and claimed the second set but fell to the Raiders by a 3-1 (25-14, 22-25, 25-12, 25-22) final.
