Hummel Named CSC Academic All-District
WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District squad on Wednesday afternoon, and Annika Hummel (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) was honored by the Association.
With this honor, Hummel advances to the national ballot, where they will have the opportunity to be named a First-, Second-, or Third-team Academic All-American when those teams are released later this year.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
Hummel a two-time All-Region pick in the pole vault after taking third in the pole vault at the PSAC Indoor Championships and fifth at the Outdoor Championships. Hummel set a new Indoor program record in the pole vault late in the 2022-23 Indoor season before tying the record with a leap of 12 feet 2 inches at the Outdoor Championships.

This effort from Palacio-Lewis, coupled with her efforts on the 4x100 relay squad, helped West Chester finish 15th in the team standings with 13 points on the weekend.
