Women's Golf Takes Second at Alvernia Spring Invitational; Vanderhorst Finishes Third Individually
MOHNTON, Pa.- Kirsten Vanderhorst (Gambrills, Md./Bishop McNamara) fired an 11-over 83 in the second round, which was tied for the best second round in the field to finish third at +21 (82, 83; 165) and help lead West Chester to a second-place team finish with a 36-hole score of 679 (334, 345).
Women's Golf Competes in Opening Round of Alvernia Spring Invitational; Play Suspended Due to Weather
MOHNTON, Pa.- The West Chester University women's golf team was back in action on Monday afternoon for the opening round of the Alvernia Spring Invitational at Ledgerock Golf Club. Due to inclement weather moving into the area in the late afternoon, teams were unable to complete the opening round as only one group played a full 18 holes on Monday. The remaining groups will finish their opening rounds tomorrow morning before playing the second and final round.

SALISBURY, N.C.- Margaux Solis (Houston, Tx./Klein) finished 20th with a three-round score of 29-over to help lead the West Chester University women's golf team to a fifth-place finish in its first Tournament of the spring with a 54-hole score of 1,006 (335, 324, 347).

SALISBURY, N.C.- The West Chester University women's golf team got its spring season underway on Monday with the first 36 holes of the Patsy Rendleman Invitational from the Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, North Carolina on Monday.
